A History of Excellence

Our track record of over 40 years spans a wide variety of projects including: conservation and refurbishment of historic and listed buildings; high quality housing for private owner/client or for sale; commercial and educational; retail and hospitality.
Richard Feilden and Peter Clegg originally set up Wraxall Builders in 1977 when starting their architectural practice in Bath. Peter is a senior partner of internationally acclaimed Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, and is now an Advisor to Wraxall Builders Limited. The company was incorporated in 1981 and is based at Bath Brewery on the outskirts of the World Heritage Site of Bath.
Guy Channer joined the company in 1978 and grew the business and its reputation for high quality construction (traditional and modern). Since 2021 the company has been run jointly by Guy's sons Henry Channer and Louis Channer who have continued to expand the capacity, scale and expertise of the team.
